As durable as only a sock yarn can be, DROPS Fabel is a 4-ply yarn with a superwash treatment, meaning it's easy to care for and machine washable. Compared to regular sock yarns, DROPS Fabel is spun from a softer quality wool, making it a fantastic year-round yarn, perfect for many more projects than just socks – try using it for children's clothing!
Both the variegated and solid colors of DROPS Fabel are produced using a method called "fancy dyeing," which differs from other methods in that each dyeing batch has slight variations in both pattern and shades. This is not an error, but simply one of the characteristics of this yarn.
This yarn is certified by Oeko-Tex® (certificate number 25.3.0110), Standard 100, Class I by INNOVATEXT TEXTILE ENGINEERING AND TESTING, HUNGARY. This means it has been tested and is completely free of hazardous substances and is considered safe for both humans and the environment. Class I is the highest level of certification and means the yarn is suitable for baby items (ages 0-3 years).
