DROPS Cotton Light is a soft cotton yarn made from 50% cotton and 50% micro polyester. Spun in multiple strands, it provides a soft and regular stitch definition; the microfibres are finer than silk yarns and do not absorb moisture, which, combined with the cotton, results in airy garments, both in summer and winter, allowing the skin to breathe. Furthermore, they provide excellent shape stability and are very durable.

DROPS Cotton Light is a great choice for children's garments because it is machine washable and comes in a variety of bright, fun colours.

This yarn is Oeko-Tex® certified (certificate number 09.HBG.68250), Standard 100, Class I. This means that it has been tested and certified to be free from harmful chemicals, making it safe for human use. Class I is the highest certification level and means that the yarn is suitable for baby products (ages 0-3 years).

An important note: if you plan on using this yarn for crocheting, be aware that the yarn tends to split due to the number of strands and its smooth, silky nature.
