Made from 100% extra-fine merino wool fibers, DROPS Merino Extra Fine yarn is a warm and super-soft wool, and therefore very gentle against the skin, making it ideal for baby and children's garments.

Spun from fibers sourced from animals raised outdoors in South America and not subjected to mulesing, DROPS Merino Extra Fine is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
Garments made with this yarn are very comfortable and have exceptional texture. Spun from multiple fine strands, DROPS Merino Extra Fine produces very regular stitches, resulting in garments with great elasticity. It is this special texture that makes getting the correct tension in your project very important, so opt for a tighter tension rather than a looser one.
Ideal for textured stitches such as twists and rice stitch, this wool has a superwash treatment, meaning it is machine washable, which is convenient for everyday use.
